Jules,

That is if the Biden junta stays in office.

And, believe me, you do not want to sell it to China.

That's exactly what the Biden junta wants.

Michael

Canada has the 3rd largest proven oil reserves in the world.  I think we should sell it to whoever fucking pays the most.

Jules,

No doubt.

But China comes with a hell of a lot more than money.

That's the part to think about.

Also, there's this. Biden is up to his neck in CCP corruption. Trudeau, also.

I don't think either man has firm patriotic commitments after a certain point.

In other words, they both sell out their countries to who whoever fucking pays the most.

:)

When Trump gets back in, he'll fix this.

Sorry to our Canadian brothers and sisters. A deal is not a deal under the Biden administration. Maybe we will get back to “The Art of the Deal” someday.

“We remain disappointed and frustrated with the circumstances surrounding the Keystone XL project, including the cancellation of the presidential permit for the pipeline’s border crossing,” Alberta Premier Jason Kenney said in a statement. TC Energy said it would continue to coordinate with regulators, stakeholders and Indigenous groups to meet its environmental and regulatory commitments and ensure a safe termination of and exit from the project. The company swung to a loss in the first quarter, hit by C$2.2 billion ($1.81 billion) impairment charges related to the suspension of the Keystone XL project.

You Americans have your problems, but never knowing when you will have to elect a new government is not one of them.

Breaking news in The United Kingdom. . . which includes Canada Carol, somebody else, somebody else, etc. . . . Town & Country also noted that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had previously listed their occupations as “Prince of the United Kingdom” and “Princess of the United Kingdom.” These positions were not written on the new birth certificate. When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced in February that they would not be returning as working members of the royal family, a statement was released saying that the couple would be stripped of all their titles relating to their trusts and patronages (which sadly, even included Prince Harry's military titles). However, the couple have maintained their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Plus, according to tradition, when Prince Charles eventually ascends to the throne, Archie and Lilibet will still take the titles of prince and princess. end quote

Ye gads man! Stripped of their trusts? Will Meghan have to go back to acting? Will Harry need to take a high end publicity job? What a cruel world. Poor Archie and Lilibet. Sigh. Yet I bet they are smart enough and industrious enough to prosper, in America. Peter

On another note.. I notice that in regards to the residential school situation..no one is calling it what it actually is.  They are saying..we need a formal apology from the pope.  We need to bring in social workers to help the natives with their pain.  Butttt nobody is looking at the elephant in the room.  Where is the criminal investigation into institutionalized murder.  This was a huge crime and government is also guilty of covering it up and are guilty of aiding and abetting after the fact even as late as 1996..covering it up...

Individuals, those who were in government and those working in the school system at the time need to be held accountable for their own individual actions, and all individuals or organizations in possession of any information pertaining to those crimes should forward that on to investigative authorities, so that those individuals who perpetrated any crime are brought to justice.

In today's group think however, even though these are past crimes by individual people, much of the focus and blame will be on the so-called current collective "guilt" of or "stain" on Government, the Taxpayer, or Society (the polite self-effacing collectivist guilty Canadian... the "We"), simultaneously the favorite mystical scapegoats and paternal caretakers of the members of the collective mob...  the subconscious premise being the straw man responsibility and guilt of the current generation  ("original sin" inherited by birth perhaps?) justifies the thirst for self- or other-flagellation , self- or other-loathing and redistribution.

IF that stupid culture of socialism could give way to individualism, current government officials would, for the most part, have no reason to cover any sins by past governments and other individuals, and promptly and simply stop covering it up and start investigating individuals ...  but the group think of collective guilt gives them plenty of "reasons", personal and political, to thwart and distort justice into a Canadian woke circus.

For those of you who checked this video out, you'll see he is criticizing (in a very humorous and intelligent way) corruption and big government, lobbying, cronyism... which has been integral to Rule in Canada for decades...

but Canada cannot really have a swamp can it?

What do we call the place in Canada where the swamp creatures of Canada live?  What do Canadians need to do to that place, if not "drain" it?

Klondike Sand Bar? edit.  "The Left” out in the cold . . .  pried from the cold, dead hands of Canadians, who got cold feet and elected another one of the frozen, brain dead politician who have a cold smile, as cold as ice. This is Clark Kent of The Daily Planet reporting from my home town of Smallville, Ontario.

Notes. The Daily Planet is a fictional broadsheet newspaper appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with Superman. The newspaper was first mentioned in Action Comics #23 (April 1940). The Daily Planet building's distinguishing feature is the enormous globe that sits on top of the building. The newspaper is based in the fictional city of Metropolis, and employs Clark KentLois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen, with Perry White as its editor-in-chief. The building's original features appear to be based upon the Old Toronto Star Building, where Superman co-creator Joe Shuster was a newsboy when the Toronto Star was still called the Daily Star. Shuster has claimed that Metropolis was visually inspired by Toronto. Over the years, however, Metropolis has come to serve as an analogue to New York City.

Yo Canada, our brother to the north? “The Ice Road.” I watched it tonight and it is worth seeing. It was riveting at times. You may have already gotten some of the plot twists from the title. But hey, it’s summer and I like hearing Liam Neeson playing an American from North Dakota. Peter

Caroline Bologna Mon, June 28, 2021, 10:40 AM·1 min “The Ice Road” is the most popular movie on Netflix, according to the streaming service’s public ranking system. Liam Neeson stars in this this film about an ice road trucker who must lead a dangerous rescue mission to save trapped miners in northern Canada. The action thriller debuted on June 25 on Netflix in the U.S. and on Amazon Prime Video in the U.K.

Depends on the product.  Natural gas pipelines are highly pressurized so that the gas turns into a liquid(under pressure).  Oil pipelines are low pressure often a diluent is added to thin it to increase flow/keep it from waxing off.  Oil pipelines also have “pigging stations”. A “pig “ is sent into a section of line and scrapes it to remove any build up.  Also in both pipelines “smart pigs” are sent down a line that monitors corrosion.  Over time it gives data as to expected life of the line and when/where repairs may be needed.

If you slightly expand the definition to comprise "wetlands," for sure we have swamps. Take a look at the geography of northern Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, or further north in  Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. Flat, wet, buggy, horrifying for all but the wetland creatures who make their livings there or visit to feast in season.

But that is all besides the point.

Why oh why oh why is Canada going to have a federal election on September 20, 2021?  The last freaking election was two years ago.

A parliamentary election each two years is too much, so I hope whoever wins can fetch a majority ...

That is, if the multiple "confirming" reports are true.

Our American friends seems to have six hundred and fifty elections at once every two years, and be not unreasonably unhappy about it ...

Drain the miasma-producing swamps, preserve productive wetlands!

It will be forty degrees Celsius here at home tomorrow. Have a kind thought for essential workers like Jules out in the field.

I'm going out on a limb here, but Im feeling a Conservative majority.

I know I know that everyone is calling for a liberal minority or perhaps a liberal majority but Sept 20 is a lifetime away in election terms and I really think that Canadians are starting to get sick of living under the current climate.
