  1. I didn’t watch the video. As you know, I rarely watch videos. I'll take your word for it that the material is choke-upping. What I signed on to comment about was Trump's "Thank you, I will never let you down!" He means it. He's fully out to give his all for decent Americans. I think it's the deep sincerity of his commitment which is why the leftists keep accusing him of being a liar. I think that they sense that he means it and the sincerity terrifies them. You went on to add the material after "btw" while I was signing in. I don't know, Michael, about your stateme

  2. With all those BLM and Antifa people screaming and inciting riots right now, President Trump just tweeted this. What a contrast. I got choked up watching it. Then I wondered who this guy was and why he made this video. So I looked. He made this video as a thank you to Tim Pool, of all things. He said Tim "unlocked" him. His name is Gary Lamb. He put this video up two days ago on YouTube. It already has over 430 thousand views. And after watching the full thing there on YouTube, I got even more choked up than before. btw - Lots of anti-Trump id

  3. Incidentally, during the lead-up phase to voting day, has anyone noticed that I rarely talk about the political opinions of anti-Trump luminaries in the Objectivist subcommunity? I just noticed this myself and wondered why. Then it hit me. Their opinions are irrelevant to the election. If there were something they say or do that would affect voting, I would be agreeing with them or rebutting them, but I forgot they existed when I have thought about the election. I'm not ignoring them. I literally forgot they existed. Seriously. Michael

  4. In this age of alone togetherness a young adult on a blind date is like being a paid volunteer in some kind of orchestrated chaos centered around awkward intimacies and chance meetings in order to placate demands placed by social norms. This could not have been highlighted more than by the stark contrast of the paper tablecloth and plastic silverware juxtaposed along side the leaded crystal stemless goblets of the restaurant. Increasingly few were the times Lisbeth didn't feel the dull stab of vain embarrassment when her glance would linger on her pretty ugly fingers , and she would be forced

  5. Paul was correct, Branden's and Rand's fields are distinct - and simultaneous, I think he'd agree: Good and evil and healthy and unhealthy. As both thinkers understood. Philosophy and psychology are considered different areas of formal study and application but co-exist in the individual mind and his life. (Self-evidently). Healthy and unhealthy was the specific concern of this Objectivism-grounded psychologist. Who would still write psycho-philosophically in Honoring the Self, about the correlation of human atrocities, sacrifice and self-sacrifice : "It is not self but the absence of self whi

  8. Here is what Marxism looks like these days. But don't forget, Marxism is a plan with a timeline, not an on-off switch. In taking over a different country, there are stages and some of them will not look like old-style Marxism until it's too late and time to execute the useful idiots. Rush Limbaugh mentioned the following article this morning. China bought the elitists in America. 10. Peter, Keep looking. You already know fake news exists, but the reality is much deeper and darker. Keep looking and noticing. It will sink in down on the lizard brain level where you want and believe today's institutions function like they are supposed to, that is, to give you correct and useful information, make a safe environment, keep the peace, etc. Then, on that level, the lizard brain level, imagine those institutions being corrupted beyond belief. Not the institutions per se, but the people running them. Then think about fake news. If it is starting to sound like mainstre

Don't forget that the use of money itself is based on a pattern of trust everyone adheres to by connecting dots nobody can prove. How can you prove someone will take your money for goods and services? You can't. You just assume it because you see lots of unrelated people doing just that. (Oh, there are laws about legal tender, but those only affect money within the context of the courts.) You can't have the good without the bad on dot-conn

The Confused and Sad reactions are being abused for heckling and trolling, and since they will not longer be there, I am pretty sure the Haha reaction will take their place by those who wish to heckle and troll. So it has to go, too. With a large number of active posters, the impact of petty negative personal garbage will become so diminished, it will no longer denigrate the environment of the forum. But for now, these negative reactions are simply an easy manner for one or two posters to

I’ll recommend a book to Merlin, who seems not to get the Marxist undergirding and deliberate employment of gender, gay, and race studies and "empowerment." 14. Yup. The revolution was organized. The bad guys even indoctrinated an entire generation of mostly white people right under everyone's noses. But they left out one critical thing. Footsoldiers. They had to import the other colors and persuasions for footsoldiers, and they didn't indoctrinate the corresponding black people already living here. They just had the government give some of them some shit and left them alone until voting time would come around. Now it's showtime, the lefties have set the revolution in motion with organized riots, and reality emerged in the form of

For those who keep trying to find a deeper meaning and excuse the excesses of zeal, they're not hiding what they want. And don't forget, it doesn't matter what YOU think. In terms of what they will do if unimpeded, it only matters to them what THEY think. Now look at reality, not just the story in your head. 28. Dg wrote, “The connections drawn within conspiracy theories may be wrong, but the existence of connections is not imagined. People, events and ideas throughout history are connected.” What is disheartening is people connecting the dots between portions of reality, but not in a scientific way. In a biased way their minds psychologically “prove” something that is untrue but agrees with a “feeling” or prejudice they have already established. Those hunches, like a slow moving storm in the Gulf of Mexico, gather momentum and become hurricanes of malice.

I'm frankly more concerned about the compliance of the patriots to the unconstitutional dictates of the state(s) in the current health 'emergency'. We could use a little FDR, " all we have to fear is fear itself" , it seems risk aversion is the plague de jure. We currently need to be assured of zero death, zero cases , zero negative outcomes of any kind before we can feel free to act. Risk aversion is a good
