  1. Tony, I wasn't criticizing anyone. I was merely stating my own position. If you're interested, I came to this position after watching innumerable debates going to the hostile level over what Rand would have done or thought. And the sides were polar opposites. In problem-solving mode, I wondered how this could be fixed seeing how she wasn't around anymore to shed light. The only solution I came to was to be clear about the part Rand wrote or said and my own position. That works for me. But I get why people do channel Rand, or try to. It's a human nature thing to emulate idols, then incorporate them. I will not criticize someone for being human. But for my life, I have dispensed with a huge amount of my own cognitive dissonance by simply owning my own words and thoughts. And many of them, admittedly, come from my familiarity with Rand's work. I own that, too. But, in the end, I like being me. I would hate being Rand. That means I would have had to sleep with Frank and Nathaniel and neither are my type. Michael

  5. Tony, It depends on what you want to use the term for. Your description goes way outside the limits of propaganda. Find a term that conveys everything you said and it would be useless for changing the world. I want to use the term for war. I want to defeat those bastards and keep them from gaining power ever again. Only then will I worry about their inner life and coming up with a term for it. Even then, the best Rand herself could do was call them "looters." She left all the other stuff for descriptions and portrayals. So for me, predator class covers all my bases. For war purposes, it's a linguistic kill shot, to use Scott Adams's idea. In an "us against them" frame, the predator class is clearly "them." Michael

  10. William, It doesn't matter. You want to discuss this issue from the frame of the predator class. You might find someone interested. I'm not. You already know the reasons in this specific case, too. The Fed-infested phony baloney Whitmer kidnapping attempt. The 1-6 setup with the Fed-infested Oath Keepers and all while the videos are suppressed, the stolen election with no courts looking at the evidence, the Russian hoax, Jussie Smollett and the media shitstorm that caused, race riots galore being called peaceful as buildings and cars burn and people die, the idiotic 1619 project, Critical Race Theory being snuck into schools, the virus scam, the vaccine scam, and on and on and on. So I'm definitively not interested in that frame anymore. The media is desperate for a narrative it can control with these marching bozos all of a sudden, which is why the Feds are involved up to their eyeballs just like every other time (and it will come out later), but, surprise, surprise, nobody's listening to the story anymore. Among civilized people, evidence is neutral. But it's no longer neutral when the predator class gets involved. They are intellectual savages, crooks, buffoons and bullies. So there is no need to deal with the predator class according to evidence anymore. Their rules, not mine. Where will that lead? I don't know. But I do know it will be better than where we are at right now. At least words can mean something again away from those pricks. Michael

I used to think the vaccinations have been more greatly instrumental, at least with preventing deaths. They no longer top my list. E.g. a low vaccination rate here in SA, while deaths have also subsided. Now the order appears to me, generally (and brutally, I'm afraid) - 1 . A great number of the most frail, elderly, ill or otherwise susceptible have already died. (Last year and this, in previous waves). 2. Many survivors achieved natural immunity. 3. The vaccines help a little further with the remainder. The coronavirus acts like natural selection, imo, taking the weakest ("lowest hanging fruit") earliest. Who is left have stronger resistance.

  15. btw - Guo Wengui rocks. He's a major force for Taiwan. And he's helping undermine the CCP. In addition, his company aired the perverted videos on Hunter Biden's laptop, he funds Gettr, and he even sings. There are two main hooks in this song: "take down the CCP" and "let the bullets fly a little longer." Both, to me, are rip righteous roaring hooks. I've tried to find out where this song is making a huge splash online, but I sense censorship. You can find the song, just not many views. However, since this is the War Room theme song, it is heard by about 90 million people with every broadcast (based on podcast download numbers). That means it is heard every day by many millions more people than that. Enjoy. It's a wonderful song and it deserves to be heard on its own. Let the bullets fly a little longer against the CCP indeed. Michael

  16. William, Just to make sure a point doesn't go unnoticed (seeing how modern political bullies prefer that their bullying go unnoticed), let's notice something. There is a very common complaint among experts and darlings of the left it all fields when they challenge the core agenda and narrative being promoted at the time. Suddenly, they are crackpots, racists, and so on. I just finished a book called The Story Paradox by Jonathan Gottschall (the guy who wrote The Storytelling Animal), who is avowedly a leftie, and even though he expresses a leftie perspective in his book, he also challenged some leftie narratives. So he also wrote in his book that he is deathly afraid of being canceled and attacked by his own side for doing this, but he has to plow forth. But the most flagrant example is President Trump. Before he became president, the left, especially as pertains to blacks, loved him. He constantly received praise and even awards from the "establishment" black community. Once he became president, the press deemed him a racist and it's been that way ever since. This story has happened to countless people. This also happened to Dr. Malone. Blanking it out doesn't make it go away. And blanking it out does not excuse the bullying. So the "some people" you refer to who think Dr. Malone is a crank are the kinds of people who change their views depending on the political agenda of the people they like. And they don't mind bullying their targets. I can't give these folks any credibility at all in terms of evaluating merit. I prefer people who go with science, not bullies and zealots who use science as their schtick to get power and unearned money. Sometimes sex, too. I gotta hand it to them, though. Some of them get plenty of money, power and sex. Some of them even like sex with little kids... Michael

  21. Do you really think Rand would indulge in floating abstractions? " what medicine recommends"? mRNA vaccine platforms are radically different than previous 'well' studied platforms , their use at this scale are truly 'experimental', the use of any leaky vaccine during the initial phase of a pandemic flies in the face of 'basic' virology. How is one supposed to reconcile that 'medicine' recommends the level of risk taking in using the novel platforms and especially against a pathogen with such a relatively low mortality rate? "Medicine" says antibiotics stops or severely mitigates the consequences of bacterium growth, but "medicine" doesn't recommend "get the jab lose your right to x,y or z ( job, travel, ect)

  24. Ellen. Oh, that's just great. Make him apologize to the MAGA people and put him in the time warp historical isolation chamber so the establishment left or the Deep State won't notice or realize it, right? They won't ever believe he apologized to them will they? Why? Because he only apologized to the MAGA people. They won't ever use the press to distort what he says, will they? Yeah, right. Now let's leave Never Never Land, let's stop blanking out the nature of the establishment left and the Deep State, and get back to living on earth among human beings as they exist, both good and evil. I don't think you or Mark could ever get elected to dog catcher of Podunk. Have you tried? Have you pulled off an election among normal people? (I actually did a few times, but not in government. However the principles are the same when dealing with crowds.) Yet you want to sabotage the election chances of someone who can fix this mess. I'm not worried because neither of you will be able to pull it off. But I argue because you are one who is worth arguing with. You earned it. In your case, I believe the attempted sabotage is not intentional. It's due to not knowing. I believe it's from total disinterest and lack of familiarity of what to do with crowds. You know science. You know nothing about public relations. And you have resisted the importance of this in public policies ever since our first discussions about Climate Change. From observing your posts for years, I have seen you imagine the masses will come to believe your conclusions without anyone bothering to convince them--just win an argument and they will automatically believe. That's not the way it works, though. Then I've seen you get testy when that doesn't work, and try to persuade by being testy. Then you wonder why that doesn't work. And the world keeps going to hell. In Mark's case, I believe there is some of that, but essentially, he hates Trump. He actually hates all authority figures. He doesn't build. He just tears down others. Oh, he liked Trump when he could use Trump to bash ARI people, but underneath, he was never really on board. It's a Jew thing, too. He really hates Jews--Trump is pro-Israel and, gasp, has Jews in the family. This goes back a long ways. We tangled about his antisemitism before. He doesn't talk about this openly anymore. But the subtext is definitely there once you have seen it. Note that ARI is really Jewish in the sense I'm talking about. I generally avoid discussing things with him because of this. I hold that this form of thinking is a poor filter for analyzing reality, it only persuades like-minded people, and it bores me to argue within that frame. God knows I have tried, too. Not just with him. It's like the observations of a guy I once read--a communist of all things--about the Jehovah's Witnesses. You can win the argument, but you will never convince them. This is one of the reasons I have become interested in persuasion. I will never persuade Mark (and people like him) of anything. Nobody can. They have to find their own way out. But I can get through to some of the people they would poison with their frames if they could. The world is never a better place with more hatred in it. And I still stand by that. I don't think you realize what went on within the administration when China released the virus on the world. And I don't think you have much of an inkling about how Trump administers. For the upteenth time, he normally keeps enemies around, not just friends, to get their opinions. (He keeps people of all sides near to get input from them.) He has always done this his entire life, yet in this case, you think the disaster happened because we was a patsy. Riiiiight... I've already explained all this and I don't see value in repeating it if it is going to be ignored. But for the reader, Trump didn't let others make his decisions for him. He always makes his own decisions, right or wrong. And he owns them. He's his own man--he always has been--and is not a patsy to anyone. He simply miscalculated the extent of the evil he was facing. Now he knows it. Look at the other threads where I post, look at all the Dems retiring for just one case, and you will see that he is fixing it--in reality, not in narrative. Instead of blaming Trump for the gross misuse by the bad guys of the vaccine part of warp speed, the important issue is to finally get the other part of warp speed going, the main part: that is, medicine. The vaccines were never developed in order to replace medicine. Repeating talking points from the mainstream perspective will not change that. And the fact that this idiocy has become policy is not on Trump. It's on the people who stole the ball with massive fraud and did it. The main part of warp speed initially was to get millions of pills and other therapeutics distributed to people in order to combat the virus on fist sign of illness. And there are stockpiles of them just sitting around. The bad guys sabotaged that part of warp speed just like bad guys on the team blew up railroad lines during wars in times past. I don't have bedazzlement about Trump (although I admire him enormously). That's just a word game to play with TDS. If I were so enthralled, I would never say Trump did a whopper--or made the other criticisms of him I have made. (But then again, I look at deeds rather than words as the most important indicator of what's going on.) Instead, I have an awareness that Trump is the only one who was able to cut through and oppose the Deep State in today's America and actually pull it off. Who else did that? Name just one. The answer is nobody, that's who. What's more, I don't see anyone who has that ability among the prospects for leadership right now. Any one of them in Trump's position would be eaten alive or assassinated. Oh, I see people who are against the Deep State, but not people who would be able to do what Trump did. DeSantis is learning as are a few in Congress, but they still have a ways to go to face down the deadly competence of the Deep State. Even Steve Bannon has had to learn and still has a ways to go. I believe he would admit that, too. So why do I get in a lather? I just don't see the value in taking pot-shots at the very person who can--and will--solve this mess. I don't mind keeping him honest, and he has done some things I don't like, but I see no value in diminishing him in friendly eyes. Especially over gotchas and misrepresentations of what went on. We already have the fake news doing that--they've been doing it 24/7 for years. What value is to be had joining them? So I speak up when people take pot shots at Trump, especially when their identification is off. (I normally let simple trolling pass, though. Trolling is not worth debating.) I mean it when I say I want Trump reelected with both Houses and the State and Local Governments on his team. That way he will have the means to fix the Deep State mess, put the Federal Government back on the constitutional rails, and maybe keep foreign enemies from invading this country. I'm not just playing word games. I'm not working from bedazzlement. And I'm not playing footsie or "I'm right and you're wrong" parlor games about this. I get where Ayn Rand was at when she wrote on the book cover of Atlas Shrugged: "And I mean it." I mean it in reality. Michael

  35. The following video is the kind of thing I look for re the coronavirus in all the hollering between experts and the people wielding mind-numbing telephone-book-sized studies and papers full of numbers and gobbledygook. Or the agendas. Dr. John Campbell, for me, is as credible as Dr. Robert Malone (and the people he champions), albeit Dr. Malone is the greater expert. Believe it or not, Dr. Campbell is better at communicating. He's the best I have seen so far. But I'm only going from this one video below. Here's the context for the video. Jimmy Dore took the new vaccine and got damaged by it. Since then, he has been looking for ways to undo the damage. And he wants his explanations in plain language because he has felt the damage in his own body--damage that can happen when one blindly trusts the experts. He came across a magnificent plain-language explainer with impeccable scientific credibility. As I mentioned above, the name of this guy (who is a Brit) is Dr. John Campbell. He has a YouTube channel with literally millions of views (God knows for how long giving his non-biased and clear approach). I just subscribed and intend to watch many other of his videos. Here's the link to his channel. Dr. John Campbell (YouTube) Dr. Campbell, is not a medical doctor, but instead a retired Nurse Teacher and A and E Nurse. I had a hell of a time trying to find out what "A and E" meant, but I found it. "A and E Nurse" stands for Accident and Emergency Nurse. In other words, Dr. Campbell is not a theory person or intellectual. Instead, he's a practical person who has worked all his life in an environment where mistakes and gobbledygook and posturing literally cost lives. (Think difference between scientist and engineer.) I think he is called Dr. because he has a PhD in something or other. I didn't look that up yet. The method he uses in the video Jimmy ran and commented on goes something like this. 1. He explains in plain language what the problem is and what different people are offering as a solution. 2. He pulls out a mountain of printed scientific peer-reviewed papers and looks at them one-by-one on camera. 3. Instead of sending out a barrage of statistics and jargon, he summarizes each paper in plain language and shows and tells what it is about. In other words, he draws pictures as he talks, explains big words when he needs to use them, and constantly uses phrases like "this kills that," and "this is too big, so it needs something to cut it in half," "this needs to get in there to inhibit the action" and so on. Hearing that along with the pictures he draws and seeing him point to parts of the picture makes it very easy for a lay-person to follow everything without going into a coma. 4. When he comes across a paper that provides a minor point, he says the paper basically shows xxx, but he won't deal with that in more depth because the point is minor and there is an excessive amount of jargon. 5. At the end, he compares what he has just shown you to the propaganda you get from the culture. It's a beautiful way to cut through the bullshit. Jimmy goes further and even explains inside references and things he himself did not know--all in plain language. Here is a quote from the end of Jimmy's video to give you an example. The gist of Dr. Campbell's explanation is that ivermectin, which won the Nobel Prize in 2015, was handed over to the public domain by it's inventors. So it cannot be patented. The new therapeutic drug by Pfizer acts in the same way as ivermectin, but has a different chemical make-up which is evident when showing it. And that means it is patentable. But there is a difference. In the different functions that allow a virus to replicate, ivermectin inhibits several of them. The Pfizer drug only inhibits one of them. The result is that the virus will likely mutate to get around the Pfizer drug before too long if the Pfizer drug becomes a main treatment. The virus will have a hard time mutating around ivermectin. (Apparently, viruses have a hard time concentrating on more than one thing at a time when mutating. ) The video also mentioned Regeneron, which does not even provide the one function the new Pfizer drug does. Except Regeneron is thousands of dollars a pill while ivermectin, way more effective (according to the scientific studies), is six cents a pill. If you can, watch the video. It is an eye-opener. And, best of all, it shows how to translate scientific papers into communication for public understanding without ladening on agendas and propaganda. Michael

  36. TG, Bloom does discuss Dawkins. He likes the meme idea, but thinks Dawkins is way incomplete. It's the individual organism and superorganism thing. Note, this superorganism thing might sound like collectivism, but it's not. Collectivism is an ideology. A superorganism is organic. It's kind of like the difference between philosophical altruism and biological altruism. When we look at the manmade, we can say it doesn't have to be that way. When we look at nature and see something exist, it's folly to say it doesn't exist or doesn't have to be that way. Humans can change chosen human organization and chosen human motivation. Humans cannot change nature as it is. To tie this to the coronavirus theme, it would be silly to claim a pandemic is made up of individual viruses and nothing further, implying that all the viruses came into being or acted the same way because of coincidence. There is a virus species. And that is a thing. What's more, the species mutates along with the individuals. Michael

TG has already announced that, but I'll post what I'd planned to say. ——- Here's a case of poetic justice: Cardiologist Who Said He 'Won't Cry at Funeral' For "Selfish" Unvaccinated People Suddenly Dies in His Sleep 2 Weeks After 3rd Covid Jab WWW.THEGATEWAYPUNDIT.COM A 52-year-old prominent New Brunswick cardiologist suddenly died in his sleep just two weeks after getting his 3rd Covid jab. Over the summer Dr. Sohrab Lutchmedial attacked “selfish” people who choose... Here's the text of a July Tweet by Dr. Lutchmedial: Edit: The text I copied seems to have disappeared, I don’t know why. Here it is typed by hand: The collective arguement [sic] to protect those who CANNOT get the vaccine who WANT protection - immune compromised, the very young - the homeless and disenfranchised. For those that won’t get the shot for selfish reasons - whatever - I won’t cry at their funeral. Tweet dated 5:43 am 7/10/21 Now, here are the cases of two top athletes who weren’t "selfish." I suppose that the Dr. Lutchmedial would have approved. 42. Seems to me healthy people, who are not too old, take vitamins C and D regularly, and have a stash of the drugs/vitamins on hand that I’ve mentioned a couple of times, should be unconcerned about catching covid, even welcome it. For such people it is a non-event and provides long-lasting immunity. Even if that is not true, for everyone except possibly the elderly who don’t take vitamins regularly and don’t have access to the proper drugs/vitamins, the vaccines are riskier than covid. Don’t be a fool of whoever the hell is behind this covid hysteria.

  43. It was a real treat to interview the artist Michael Newberry and ask him about his paintings and thoughts on art and postmodernism. I learned a lot from his book, "Evolution Through Art," and I love his nude called "Winter." Please check out this episode!

  44. T, There's the scam right there. Whenever the government exempts a commercial activity from the possibility of being sued like everyone else, bad things happen. This happened with vax. This happened with social media. Notice that many of the same people are involved in both, too. That tells me a crapload of insider stuff goes on. (But you don't need an IQ above 25 to know that. ) This legal exemption from normal liability that applies to everyone else also happens with many government things. What could possibility go wrong there? Like wars for profit and little else, for instance? Nah... That would never happen... Michael

  45. People don't want to be force to take the jab. And some people are getting desperate, albeit creative. The unnamed 50-year-old man is now facing charges of fraud after rolling up his sleeve to get the shot... They should just let the guy go and stop the shit. Michael

  47. Peter, Most of those solicitations are not from Trump himself. They are from groups that have, in one way or another, gotten Trump's approval. I just listened to an interview with Lin Wood and he said, in the beginning of his involvement with politics, he donated a hefty amount to one of these groups, something like $700k. He later discovered that this money did not go to Trump's campaign, but instead, was sent all over the country to fund the campaigns of RINOs. He got pissed and I think he managed to get some of it back. Michael

  48. Here's some more "suck on it." Fake 'Fact Checkers' Politifact, AP and Fake News NPR Last Year Claimed President Trump Was Incorrect Saying Rittenhouse Acted in Self-Defense - Yet No Apologies Today? WWW.THEGATEWAYPUNDIT.COM Fake News and their fake fact checkers are instruments used to push political narratives of the left. Their tactics are similar to publications used by communists and totalitarians over the ages. Their stories... When President Trump said Kyle was acting in self-defense back when the Kenosha riot happened, all the fake news media and fact-checkers said: Trump was wrong, wrong, wrong, I tell you. Wrong! And that means he's a liar, liar. liar, I tell you. Liar! Well the court just said Trump was right. Any apologies coming from the fact checkers and the mainstream media? Nope. But the fact--irrefutable fact--is that Trump was right and those idiots were wrong. So suck on it. Michael
