The level of continental integration will grow under Trudeau and whatever harpie or has-been or dreamer occupies the White House next January. Like after all such inaugurations for the last fifty years save GWB, President TrumpClintonRubio will go north to Canada to check in. I cross the border twice a quarter. I like it being there. The last thing I want in Greater Vancouver is more American-style crime. Criminals will not need a passport under Unification.

Los Popularos will regroup and tour before that border dissolves into the kind of barrier between Oregon and California, though I certainly would like to retire to Puerto Rico if possible without bothering with pesky citizenship schmutz.

Anyhow, to return to the subject of the American Hellhole, here is a Trump rally in 360 degrees. I urge anyone not already loving Trump to watch at least a couple of his rallies. You will not understand the power of his campaign until you do, survey says.

Here is the Town Hall meeting Trump just did with Anderson Cooper.

I haven't even seen it yet (I will shortly), but it is where the CNN clip in the two posts above is from. That is where Trump said he doesn't care anymore about Cruz's monkeyshines in Iowa.

(Apropos, he doesn't need to care, either. He made a shitstorm and now heavies in the media and Republican world are carrying it further, including, of all people, Bill O'Reilly. )

Michael

I loved that video . See , that guy is what he should show . Show that he is human and not such a bully and all the bravado . I love how he answered the questions without insults .

Reminds me of the guy who gets punched in the mouth at school and comes back a little calmer the next day . Obviously his advisors stopped his spiral but after NH then he explodes again

Obviously his advisors stopped his spiral...

Marc,

I doubt it.

Melania probably told him to knock it off and stop the Cruz crap...

Michael

Thats what I just said ,

his advisor

if he listened more to her , he might actually win a few states and not just piss the fuck outta everyone !!!

I am actually pulling for Trump to win NH , I think he deserves it . Rubio cleans up after he either wins NH ( a lot better chance than all the OL poll lovers think ) or comes in a real strong second and wayyyyyyyy closer than the dreaded pundits speculate .

Trump has done well , changed the game .

I say , please God , let him win at least NH !!!!!

Its gonna be close

Oh, Melania. She is shockingly beautiful, like a Kardashian. I relish the dream of a Melania White House. From humble beginnings in Outbackya Yurup, she gained a bosom and a Trump. I bet she is as cool and smart and calculating and all-round wonderful as Mila Mulroney, whom none of you except Marc and Jules will remember.

Oh, MIchael, what did you think of that short excerpt of a Trump rally in 360 degrees? I am looking for longer ones that capture that same kind of feeling. If you come across any, please share the link at Post 32, wouldja?

I will change my avatar back to Mexican Billy if you promise to post links to 360 degree Trump rallies. Again, I urge readers to experience a rally or two through the medium. I have been keeping contact with the Trump campaign. They even asked me if I wanted to work a computerized call centre, where Trump supporters are hunted down with a majestically simple and robust software called Callfire ...

I told them it would be weird to call prospective GOP primary voters to sell them on Trump, from north of the 49th. I suppose I could vault that border pictured below, in an electronic sense, but I feel that would be unethical. I have asked my two American friends in town about the ethics. They don't care, which is not surprising. Americans who spend a month or more up there tend to badmouth the Hellhole. Not as bad as Trump, but hey.

I am excited for New Hampshire. I think Trump could very well top his alltime polls there, given the totally different kind of race to Iowa, and given his shock-in-the-keister loss to Cruz -- meaning the team is well aware of ground-game deficiencies and is determined to out-do themselves in GOTV this week. Maybe one of my American friends could spend an hour or two on Callfire tempting voters with a New Tomorrow under Trump. They are sort of high-tech upstart seed-money digital hipsters at heart, and I haven't really plumbed the depths of their love of things Trump.

There, I have said Trump at least ten times this comment. I want a mug. I want a prize. I want Trump to stomp the hell out of everyone in New Hampshire, thus making South Carolina Munster's last stand, or perhaps Jug-Ears' last stand. Once Trump trounces the christiano wackos, he can get to stomping out the remnants among his foes. By March 5th, I shall be eating crow (not a protected species in BC).

I mean, I don't look forward to eating crow, now that I am half-on the Trumpwagon, but I ain't afraid. I was trained as an actor, and I shall pretend to enjoy it, and pretend that it is a teaching moment.

The WALL two miles from me.

I actually did volunteer in the beginning.

On a Trump thread on Facebook, someone advised me to call Trump's people in New York and gave me a phone number. I called and got a lady who didn't know what the hell to do with someone in Evanston, Illinois.

After that, I thought I would do my part right here in O-Land. Anyway, I suck at handing out pamphlets and things like that.

Kat had me do that one year when Joel Pollak ran against Jan Schakowsky. Kat and I met him and his wife and talked with them for a bit. Really nice people. But I could tell at the time he wasn't going to win (he still got about 30%, though). The organization he had going was not very good.

And then there was that matter of posing for an outdoor group picture. There were about 40 or 50 of us, lots of balloons and colorful props. They shot the pictures at angles with Joel in front to make it seem like there were at least 4,000 people present, all yelling and screaming madly in wild ecstasy.

I told Kat, never again.

All seriousness now , you are doing what you need to do right here .

This election is so huge and although this thread is really deep , and angry and funny its about the same issue . Folks here are concerned about the future of their country , hence all the emotions .

Mr. Trump is trying to kick through a glass wall here and its so important at this moment in time for not just United States , but the world .

How he does it , for me , is not that important . If it is insulting , convincing , bullying , fighting or killing- it makes no difference to me . It is a needed revolution and packed stadiums throughout the US proves my point of this being a revolution . A very important revolution .

I see this moment as a Warsaw ghetto uprising almost . Only love and respect to those who started the uprising there and RIP to all those beautiful soldiers . Only love and respect to the soldiers too in the United States who are rallying in stadiums , and parks , and town halls and everywhere to hear Mr. Trump speak and preach what is wrong with the status quo , also the corruption in DC and across the nation , and the world .

Walls do not get knocked down over night . Warsaw ghetto uprisings are the beginning , the first shot if you may .

Trump has already achieved this , the whispers are turning to shouts , and the shouts will turn to blood if needed . It is a revolution , maybe a bloodless revolution , maybe not . Makes no difference .

The people will elect Rubio . Not because he is the saviour , just because that is what the people will do . The people do what the people will do . Trump has been a catalyst and the first step is complete . The people will give us all three branches of government and Marco Rubio is the recipient of right place , right time in history . Marco Rubio owes DT , and he knows it . This is politics . This is life and death . This is a war . DT is a soldier , DT is a soldier . He aint King , he don't want to be King , he aint gonna be King . He is a soldier . Just like Rubio . Rubio will take the next step and he will be a fantastic President , and the comparisons to Obama just because they were both first term Senators is totally idiotic .

He will learn to govern , he is a smart motherfucker , his agenda is not President Obamas agenda . He will learn the game , he will have advisors and he will be a modern day Ronald Reagan ( God bless and RIP ) who will govern with the support of Reagan Democrats . He will end the Obama-Clinton- Sanders bullshit and bring our ( yes OUR ) country back off the brink . Then , and only then can me really KEEP America great .

The goal here folks is to move in the right direction , all the wrongs of the last 8 years will not be corrected by DT in Minnesota in a stadium . That is but one straw on the camels back .

DT has started an uprising . He is a soldier and he knows that well . As is Adelson . As is Cruz . We all want the same thing here .

President Rubio is the next logical step .

The faster this thread realizes this , makes no difference .

Its still going to be President Rubio , and DT will have a direct line to his office . Well played Donald , well played indeed ,

Imagine what [Marc is] going to feel like when Rubio loses the nomination to Trump.

Ah, clairvoyance ... I can well imagine how Marc might feel if and when Rubio fails to reach his goal.

On the other hand, we observers can also use our imagination regarding your future feelings, Michael. There is a slim possibility that the Crow will be served to you. Actually, considering you have mentioned how much pleasure you take in WSS and Marc eating crow, there will obviously be more than one serving for you. It will be a veritable banquet. Five and twenty black birds, baked in a pie. With more for dessert.

On a third hand, Michael -- you confidently predicted a smashing majority win in Iowa for Mr Trump. You ate crow for that, but nobody noticed.** Did it taste good? Was it filling? Any recommendations or recipes for the rest of us?

Seriously, your guesses so far are 0 for 1.

Here I introduce a confident prediction about New Hampshire, having spent a few hours collecting information on the ground-games and the Poll Gap. As noted at Post 32 today, the New Hampshire voter is not fickle, not trendy, not fixed, not always predictable a week out. The very latest credible polls shows what every primary poll shows around this time in the circus: 1/3 GOP primary voters have not made up their minds.

Another extract from the poll is that Trump's support in NHhas edged down below 30% ... this is a little bit surprising to me. He must top 33% in New Hampshire to be in a good position leading into South Carolina and Nevada.

Adam probably will put up a New Hampshire topic as he did with Iowa. I will, if I can get time, post a table of predictions. Michael, you may want to stay out of the prediction game, to avoid crow-eating on the 10th.

So, New Hampshire Trump totals? I confidently predict Trump will garner 33% of the votes. I predict a mini-surge for Rubio, who will top 20%. As for Cruz, I think he will edge all the other also-rans, with about 12-15%. Fourth will be Kasich, with 10%, and Bush, Christie gaining about 5-7 tops. The remainder will not rise above 5%.(I reserve the right to change these guesses in AVS's thread). I am probably wildly wrong about Cruz in NH ...

Feel the thrill: Trump at massive rally in Little Rock, just two days ago ...

William,

Where did I do that?

I have predicted that Trump will win the nomination, but I don't recall predicting Iowa specifically. (Maybe I did during the banter, but I honestly don't remember.)

It is true I expected him to win and hoped he would win. I just don't remember making a formal prediction.

btw - Clairvoyance is a theory, I suppose. I prefer the good old fashioned term, "taunting."

I wasn't taunting you -- that is pre-teen schoolyard stuff, I was pointing to human efforts to see the future and the present distant reality. You seem to like taunting 'non-believers' but that is part of stumping and the general light-hearted tone here, so no harm no foul.

William,

I know you were not taunting me.

I was taunting Marc and, yes, it is pre-teen schoolyard stuff.

I get that way with him.

btw - Thanks for the reference. I had legitimately forgotten.

(There's a memory thing here that could be interesting to think about. I made that prediction passively and generally in answer to a question that asked for specifics. It did not stick in my memory. When I actively pursue disclosing my opinion, though, this almost always sticks.)

Meanwhile the Trump GOTV asset ... a stunningly cunning tool:

Not wanting to resurrect the ghost of the dearly (figuratively) departed, Phil Coates, William's characterization of Trump's GOTV asset reminds me of that old riddle: what's the difference between a team of clever midget acrobats and a beauty pageant? (Caveat: if you don't already know the answer, you probably wouldn't want to.)

Drudge doesn't have a poll up about who won the debate.

Odd...

I went to Time and Trump is killing it over there. It's at 69% or something like that.

I went to The Blaze just to see them say Cruz won (Glenn Beck endorsed Cruz and plugs him every chance he gets) and, as of this minute, Trump is beating Cruz 42% to 40%.

Dayaamm!

Even if that doesn't hold... Over there?!!...
