Live, from Miami Beach, it's the Jackie Gleason Show!

Actually, I wish. Today my Twitter feed was a go go with Peter Strzok answering questions from a combined committee of the House, ostensibly part of "Clinton Email Investigation.

I give but the link, since I don't have the knowledge or right to embed.

[Added: yesterday's hearing has been made embeddable:]

"JULY 12, 2018 FBI Deputy Assistant Director Peter Strzok on 2016 Investigations FBI Agent Peter Strzok, who was removed from the special counsel’s investigation of Russian involvement in the 2016 U.S. elections, testified before a joint hearing of two House committees responsible for FBI and Justice Department oversight."

With a bi-partisan burp of ad hominem, Cernovich earned a lot of charge today, sounding like a mite bit more reasonable Liz-Jan Crokin-Brady in a spasm of outrage-orgasm,  while scoring the all-important Child Harm Voter:

There's always gonna be some bullet-headed, Old Ocelot-drinking, gators and guns type Hater. Here it's Rick Wilson:

But still, who would you trust around the children, Cernovich, who rarely washes his hands, or the fastidious J-Anon?

William,

Cernovich.

He goes after his target and stays on point. He's just fine with children, as many of his videos and photos show. He also fights pedophiles.

(Who the hell is J-Anon?)

Rick Wilson imagines he is some kind of referee calling an imaginary game for people who don't hate like he does and he imagines they accept his ruling.

Audience-wise, Cernovich stays in his own head. Agree or disagree, that's clear. Wilson crawls into the head of his audience, or, better, he thinks he does, and he imagines he controls them while congratulating himself on it.

I don't trust that lack of contact with reality and need for power around children.

I don't understand the part about not washing hands.

Anybody want to buy a used car from Strozk?

He looks honest... probably give you a good deal...

My favorite quote from that clip is by Louie Gohmert. While Strozk was promoting his honesty and integrity, Gohmert blasted out this to his face:

Quote

When I see you looking with a little smirk, I wonder how many times did you look so innocently into your wife's eyes and lie to her about Lisa Page.

Of course, the House exploded with phoney outrage.

My, my, so many virtuous people...

:)

Then, more of course, Strozk returned to his theme about how honest he was, virtue-signaled about how grand was his integrity for owning up to hurting his wife, and, essentially, called Gohmert a poo-poo head. Here are his words:

Quote

I have told the truth. The fact that you would accuse me otherwise and [bring up] a family member that I have acknowledged hurting goes to more of a discussion of your character and what you stand for and what’s going on inside you.

"I have told the truth..." and if you don't believe him, ask his wife.

:)

To think this guy carried around a loaded gun and was able to arrest people...

Watching and hearing the hearings was fun. Great theatre. Strozk took the wrong tack.

My favorite bit was his being confronted with the question of whether he used the smarmy smirky bit while lying to his wife, and his response was to play victim and say that the question said more about the character of the questioner than it did about him. I've never, ever lied, ever in my entire life, and don't bring up my having lied to my wife while cheating on her, because that's hurtful and personal. Heh.
