The Untouchables

This is one of my favorite movies. I saw it when it first came out and I try and watch when it is shown on television.

It is not the history of Eliot Ness's bringing down Al Capone. It is an extremely romanticizing version of that story. Keep that fact in mind but enjoy it anyway.

the acting is wonderful starting with Kevin Costner. Robert De Niro is a great Al Capone. The other members of the Untouchables are also very good. It was a first role for Andy Garcia. The great performance is Sean Connery as Malone. The roles of Ness's wife and daughter are very well done. The actor who plays Frank Netti is quite good. You hate him so much you like the end his character comes to.

The technical aspect of the movie are also well done. There is great integration of the sound and music. The settings are well done. It looks like Chicago in the late 20ths and early 30ths.

If you have not seen do and if you have see it again.
