Around 1997 after several individuals had been freed from prison as a result of DNA Truscott contacted AIDWYC one of the other most successful of these groups about having such testing. After going back and looking through for such samples the report was there was no such material

Aidwyc was not disheartening but not discouraged. Trusccott's wife Marlene and others had been gathering material and TV news program thought there might be a story in the case. The show began interviewing individuals including Steven and in 2000 did a show about the case. The show got a big reaction.

The producer of the show Julian Sher had been working on a book that was published in 2002 under the title "Until You Are Dead". Aidwyc had obtained all the documents relating to the case. AIWYC made final request for a final review of the case.

I must add that I had read AIDWYC's brief and found it extremely through document. The Justice Minister then turned the case over to a retired judge who found in his view that a miscarriage of justice had occurred. This finding was appealed ending in the unanimous decision I talked about August 28th.

I hope this explains my interest.

I must that all of us I think can be inspired. Never giving up can bring very good results.
