France Elections - Marine Le Pen

Can she beat Emmanuel Macron on May 7?

Things are looking up for her.

Also, the French love a "bon mot" and she just landed a haymaker right on his puss, right there in front of everyone.

Here's the set up. Le Pen and Macron just did a debate.

Macron is 39 and Le Pen is 48, so he's nine years younger than her. Macron's wife, who used to be his schoolteacher, is 64. They fell in love when he was 15.

Now for the bon mot. Let's have Paul Joseph Watson do the honors, shall we?

:)

France will be led by a woman, it’ll be either me, or Mrs. Merkel.

Ooooo! Ouch!   Zinger!   She left out Joan of Arc or someone like her.

Ahh, a case of the devil or the deep blue sea. They both smelled bad and France is still in trouble. A little respite for all Lefties, they must be ecstatic, celebrating their one recent victory.

Sure, and the EU can breathe again. We mustn't forget that the Nationalist right in France is quite a bit more extremist than elsewhere. Don't you love the way Macron has been promoted as "centrist"?! Either, it was total spin by the media, to lend their boy support - or, the Left has moved so far Left, that most anyone appears moderate.

A French "centrist"  would be very left wing in the U.S.  Europe has a different measure of left, right and center from that of the U.S.

Here is one of the most astute analyses I have seen on Macron's win so far. And it's from a guy on the anti-globalist side who never thought Le Pen had a chance.

I especially like his concept of how the EU runs on appeasement, so by definition, it constantly has to piss off half of its members.

He thinks globalism is on its last legs, like a boxer who's still standing, but weaving and essentially wasted. All that's left is waiting until he keels over. I agree.

Michael.  How do you define "globalism"?  The economy of the world is in fact global.  A person or company can buy and sell stuff from anywhere to anywhere.

The appearance of free global trade conducted by elitist crony business and government insiders--all governed by a myriad of backroom deals and cliques and buttressed by contradictory and cartel-protecting laws throughout countries the world over. Also, the insiders are well-connected at the UN, WTO, IMF, etc. for show. On the surface, it looks like an attempt at a One World Government. But that's also for show.

The main cash crop of globalism is Endless War for Profit. When you kill people nonstop, but in a controlled manner, you use up goods and services like a mother. You can even experiment on them. Also, this is good for getting rid of troublemakers. Just make sure they get caught in the crossfire.

Endless War for Profit

This is what I have called  :The Forever War.  The Neo-Cons sold the concept and it has been picked up and implemented.

You should have asked to any french guy (like me) : Le Pen's success was obviously impossible. Almost any french, even Le Pen's supporters, could have told you. This wasn't comparable with the american situation and Donald Trump.

If you're interested, check out what I've said there and if you have question, it will be a pleasure to me to answer here.

I must say that even if Macron is far from an objectivist perpective, Marine Le Pen was really much much more far than him. Economically, she is socialist. Macron has some traces of pro-capitalism. Marine Le Pen has no.
