Shia keeps trying to make anti-Trump cooler than normal cool and just can't catch a break.

Michael

It looks like that video didn't make it.

But that's OK because the video below is soooooooooo much funnier. And informative.

You get the whole story and get a belly-laugh to boot.

It took the kids on 4chan one day to discover where that flag was. They studied airplane flight patterns in the sky, star constellations, etc. Then one (or more) of them went to the location, took Shia's flag down and replaced it with a Trump MAGA hat.

I need to bring over the Maddow fizzle to the humor thread, but there are too many posts on it on the Trump thread. You can see them starting here.

Below is one from over there, which is a good choice since it nicely sums up the debacle and duly mocks her.

More gloating about Maddow:

Paul Joseph Watson presents an impressive list of anti-Trump failures with Maddow capping it off (for now).

Like he bantered, President Trump said during the campaign that we will win so much, we will get tired of winning.

(dramatic pause)

(sudden big smile)

Nope. Not tired yet.

:)

Well........

I can't resist posting Colbert again (from the Fake News thread) seeing how it's doubly funny to watch the left eat their own.

Even Colbert is bashing Maddow:

Now for something Maddow not on another thread.

I remember the smugness about Trump's demise of everyone on the Clinton side the night of the election and the days leading up to it. Then the night unfolded.

:)

The poor things were so blinded by their core story, they just didn't see reality when it was right there in their faces.

In that spirit, I came across this.

Well sure enough,  Trump won.  Now how is he doing at governing?   It is not quite the same thing as buying and selling hotels and gambling casino's on The Board Walk  is it?

I am rather pleased at the result.  I wanted to bust up the chinaware of the Democratic Liberals   and  I helped elect  the bull for the china shop.  So I am not complaining. The main thing is that Hillary,  She Who Must Not Be Elected,  was not elected. Score one for the good guys.

Bob,

You keep saying this, but you need to work on your analogy.

It would be easy to infer from your statement that governing is "not quite the same thing as buying and selling hotels and gambling casino's on The Board Walk," but, for some damn reason, becoming elected president is the same.

How does that work?

Being elected is like winning a beauty contest.   Making a profit in real estate requires some judgement concerning location,  economic conditions of the area of interest,  formulating objective.  Buildings are for  something.  And selecting a style.   All of these things together constitute good or bad judgement.  Trump is primarily a business man,  not a Leader of Men nor an Inspiration for the Nation.   Culturally he is a tad on the crude side  and intellectually he is mediocre.  Elon Musk is smarter than Trump.  Even if Musk were eligible to be President  Musk would not win elections.  Musk probably would never seek elective office.

My favorite capitalists   are Edison, Ford,  Ed Land,  Bell,  Musk and such like.  Capitalists who actually innovate  or promote technological innovation.  What innovation has Donald Trump introduced to the market place.   Glitzy hotels?   Gambling casinos?   Golf courses?   I am underwhelmed.

Bob,

So... You think Barack Obama is beautiful?

He won twice.

Michael

do you know the difference between "is"  and "is like"?

No. I didn't thing Obama was beautiful  and I did not vote for him.

No. I don't think Trump is beautiful and I did vote for him.  I figured he would be a major disruption to the government of the United States.  Was I right?

Bob,

But you think his winning the election twice is the equivalent of a beauty contest?

And how about Richard Nixon back in the day? Or Jimmy Carter?

  :)

Considering the Republican opposition  to Obama  (2008 and 1012)  it is no surprise that Obama won the popularity contests.   The republican alternatives were wretched.  The 2008 would have put that dunce Sara Palin a hearbeat away from office  and in 2012  Mitt Romney was clueless.  Actually he clueless all the time,  not just in 2012.

I think Buzzfeed got hacked.

Calling it a hack might be a stretch since it is a user article. But it is definitely not normal Buzzfeed.

It's an attack snowflakes!

I don't know how long that article "hack" on Buzzfeed will stay up, but I hope this Facebook post does.

The article (authored by one "kekwillsmitethisshithole") looks like an attack from the 4Chan folks. There are lots of memes--pictures of President Trump hugging the American flag, cartoons of Pepe the Frog and all kinds of zany mocking intended to trigger snowflakes. My favorite is the phrase: "There is only one gender. Women are objects."

LOL

That is so bad, it is funny. Let me try being very, very un PC.

Whoa. I know someone who is NOT going to get a piece of ass tonight!

Just have an explanation handy Ricky, or Lucy ain’t gunna open her mouth for you until you buy her a diamond neckless.

Cripes. I’m looking over my shoulder so I will stop with that bizarre clap trap that I would never, ever say. Well, maybe to my fantasy gal, Dana Perino.
