We now have a calendar on the website where you can post the details of your event. In additional to a post, you may want to put events and happenings on the calendar near the top left of your screen. See Tech Support for more info.

When I try to add an event I get a message that I don't have permission to use that feature...
Me too. Guess no one's gonna know my birthday 
I found and adjusted the settings. It should be working now. Sorry about that.
