It turns out that ostrich eggs are strong an adult human can stand on one without breaking it. I would advise that those who think eggs are inherently fragile check their premises.

It is not outside the bounds of possibility that a genetic mutation might produce a hen that lays eggs as tough as the eggs of an ostrich. The chemistry of egg-shell formation is not graven in stone and is purely a function of the genetic makeup of the critter that lays the egg.

I wasn't talking about ostrich eggs or dinosaur eggs here.

You have shown no evidence that a chicken egg isn't "inherently fragile", and my offer to bet is still open.

Suppose I say, "It is not outside the bounds of possibility that a genetic mutation might produce a human born in the next year to grow to be 20 feet tall." Do you find that credible? If yes, suppose I change it to 100 feet tall? 1000 feet tall?

Not in Earth normal gravitation. On the moon a twenty foot tall person is possible given that the chemical makeup of human bone does not change much. The limitation on height is essentially the shearing or torque strength of bone.

All material things have stress limits. It is a function of the coulomb forces among the atoms and molecules of the material.

Even diamonds can be broken. That is what diamond cutter do.

"fragile" and "brittle" are relative terms.
