Let's get away from Prince Obama and Muslims for a while and consider some philosophical issues.

Question: Are the Red Spot of Jupiter or the whirlpool waving and dancing above the drain hole of your bathtub objects or are they something else? Are they things or are they happenings?

How is constancy amid change possible? If the world is constantly changing how are persistent and permanent objects possible?

Why would you call this a philosophical issue? That can only lead to arguments. The relative "permanence" of objects is a function of our nervous systems being able to abstract structure from the stimuli it is immersed in. As if we haven't had this discussion before.
'Always' and 'Never' are two words you should always remember never to use. :-)
