My friend and our respective ladies had seasons tickets to the NY Knicks from 1969 to 1974.

Yes, we saw the only two NBA championships that they ever earned.

We sat in the "blues" at center court Section 530 Row C Seats 1-4 which was right under Marv Alpert's radio booth and right behind the real sports press of NY.

At any rate as patriotic as I was, I refused to stand for the National Anthem because of the draft and many folks from around the country would initially be upset, but I would engage them and explain why and that I was being an original patriot by doing that.

I admire that young lady and would fight and risk my safety for her right not to stand.

New Hampshire's motto is Live Free Or Die. It is on the license plates, but not in the schools apparently. Horace Mann's fascist chicken is coming home to roost.
