George,

Kat had Huckabee on the TV last night and he had these guys on.

Amazing.

Despite the fact that live music on TV almost always sucks.

Simply fantastic.

Huckabee said Elton John has invited them to tour with him.

"Amazing" just about covers it.

While channel surfing last night I caught the last 30 seconds of the performance on Huckabee. That was enough to get me hooked. Fortunately, Huckabee mentioned the name "2cellos" at the end, so it was easy to find some videos on YouTube.

A guy who linked my Facbook video to his own FB wall described this performance as "homerotic." He has a point, though I doubt if this is what Huckabee had in mind. 8-)

Legend is that Toscanini, in a moment of bad temper, screamed at a lady cellist "the most beautiful instrument in the world between your legs, and you just sit there and scratch it!"

I enjoyed listening to their CD a while ago.

They do rely on heavy amplification and processing for some of the sounds they get, but that's OK.
