What struck me most about the video was that all those years ago Obama was cultivating a phony urban-black accent for occasions when it suited his purposes.

Early on during the 2008 election there were hints that Obama took professional instruction to develop this speaking style - known to be effective on the gullible.

Dennis,

I once considered doing a study of the persuasion and crowd manipulation techniques in Obama's speeches. Since I have studied a few, I can see them clearly.

But some bonehead put out a study already and went waaaaaaay over the mark, claiming Obama hypnotized the American public into voting for him. It was so propaganda-like itself it became a laughing stock and later efforts to discuss Obama's presentation and crowd control skills were either channeled into vague generalities (like he has a lot of communication talent and so forth) or dismissed as quackery.

Some of the stuff in the study was correct, some interesting stuff that could lead to further investigation was spun out of character with speculation parading as fact, and some of it was just plain dishonest.

The guy actually helped Obama hide what he does from the general public. Here's the PDF if anyone is interested: An Examination of Obama’s Use of Hidden Hypnosis Techniques in His Speeches.

These idiots just don't get it. When you fight lies with lies, everyone's a liar and accusations don't stick. The yelling buries what truth there is once the "everyone's a liar" narrative sets in with the public.

Only objective truth presented dramatically blows large-scale deception into oblivion in the short-term, like, say, the ACORN videos of James O’Keefe.

Such a claim is outright Nutsy Fagin. In addition it is also a denial of Free Will. People believe what they -choose- to believe. Belief cannot be forced or imposed. People can be fooled, at times, but never forced into thinking anything they do not wish to think.

Claims such as "mind control" is right up their with The Black Helicopters.

After watching "Person of Interest" I ocassionally watch "The Mentalist". I find the show interesting because I have always tried to understand con-men and later in light of my interest in physics and being in the military - the actions of spies - and others who use manipulation techniques. I have known a few extreme womanizers in my life and their techniques are interesting as well. I have not done any kind of in depth study but it is clear that most people understand a great deal less about the subject than I do just from what I have picked up here and there.

The "everyone's a liar" or "everyone is a cheat" is very effective in shutting down thought in many people. It is a favored technique among socialists maintaining their political power and socialists pushing class warfare. I have been often surprised in how easily people can be manipulated in class warfare. People with poor analytical skills literally cannot understand how the labor of one person might be considerably more valuable than anothers. When it comes time for help on a math problem or something that needs computer programming skills they blank-out about how that is something not everyone can do and good luck finding anyone willing to do it. I have found that the vast majority of people who have resumes saying they can do it are still useless.

Long story short - manipulation works. Those who are good at it can gather wealth, power, and sex well beyond what their actual skill set would suggest. Most everyone is suseptible to various kinds of manipulation. Being aware of it and being aware of your own weak spots is about all you can do.

Manipulation is a skill. You probably do not approve of it, but it is a skill none the less.

Bob,

Really?

You believe that the mind of a suicide bomber is not the result of an effective form of brainwashing?

You believe that suicide cults exist because people knew what they were getting into when they signed up?

Ever heard of isolation and gaslighing?

I could go on...

To say that the story of the video is a wet noodle is a vast overstatement.

And I don't believe for a minute that it is a feint with the right jab, either.

With the greatest respect to Breitbart and his family, the ideas here of his adrenaline overdoses and 24/7 lifestyle are correct I think. I would further observe that he was a happy warrior - fuelled by hatred of his enemies - glorying in daily slaying them.

In other words, he kept taking the poison, expecting the enemy to die.

U.S. Congressman Danny K. Davis with communist ties sits on the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security.

Barack Obama a close friend of Danny Davis admits to sharing his values and considers him one of the best Congressman in the country.

Here is a 2004 video which also shows O'bama speaking for Davis as the best Congressman in America...

Even though I predicted before the first Iowa Democratic primary caucus that this marxist would be President in 2008, I did not know about this video.

lol. When you are feeling better, you just march right out and apologize to that poor girl scout.

Since you are being a good sport about it I will tell you a secret female secret about cramps and the awful agonies of childbirth that no men know and I know you will never tell anybody. I never had cramps much but I know what they feel like. Labour pains are just like very strong cramps, stroooong like being clamped with an iron hand. And delivery hurts, but it is short - under a minute usually.
I speak as a total pain coward who demands nitrous for tooth cleaning. I had two natural childbirths that I did not anticipate (I expected and hoped to be doped to the gills) and lived to tell the tale. I know it is not like that for everybody of course.

I notice we are still on the Breitbart death thread but I do not think a birth comment is inappropriate.

Carol:

It is very Zen like, birth from death.

When my daughter was born, my wife had twenty (20) some hours of back labor. I was with her the whole time and was applying my clenched fist to her lower back as each wave hit.

I was exhausted from the continual opposition pressure that I had to apply. It is an amazing process to be part of. The only real miracle you can directly experience.

In the 19th C. if you were giving birth you had a 1 in 7 chance of dying. The odds after were that your baby would not survive his/her infancy. I visited a small graveyard in Minnesota in 1993 and there in a family plot were the graves of dead child after dead child from the same family over less than ten year period in the 1870s or 1880s.

I believe they said from the beginning that the video(s) - plural - would be released a little at a time
all the way through the election season for maximum impact. When to release such buried information
will depend upon current events as they occur.

It is known that some of the videos relate to purposeful racial aggitation for political purposes.
Several commentators expect Obama and company to work racial violence for political benefit this summer.
Videos showing Obama plotting for political violence since his youth will go a long ways towards explaining
current events if released at the appropropriate time.
