A thermodynamic basis for biological evolution

It seems in non-equilibrium thermodynamical systems the increase of entropy wants to make disipating systems even more efficient at energy dissipation. The slickest way to do that is to make copies of our selves.

Erwin Schodinger was on to this notion back in 1944. Please see http://whatislife.stanford.edu/LoCo_files/What-is-Life.pdf

And if you have the mathematical chops for it, please see http://www.englandlab.com/uploads/7/8/0/3/7803054/2013jcpsrep.pdf

I have decided after long thinking my religion is really thermodynamics. But I will continue to celebrate the Passover.
