The image tag only works with images that end with an graphics extension like jpg, gif, etc. rather than html, which is for the page, not the graphics. You will find the image url when you right click on the image and look at the properties. Copy that path from the properties window (not the explorer address bar), paste it in your post, then select that path in your post and click the IMG button to link and display the image in your post. or you could type the tags in manually. at the end to close the tag. The code should look something like this...

I used the code tag to display the code, in case you were wondering what that mysterious button was for. It works similar to quote.

Thanks, Jonathan.

Putfile looks like a great resource. They host image, sound and movie files. They don't allow shared accounts, so people will need to open thier own personal account to share these types of files with the group. The accounts are free and they give you a website. Pretty cool.... Also check out their "news" site.

Here is the way to link an image to another site.

1. Find your image, right click on it and copy the path to the image from the properties. The url should end with jpg, gif or png (image format), not html, pdf, doc, etc.

2. Paste the url that you just copied into the text box of your new post, highlight it and click the Img button to display the image. (or type after it) Hit preview to check that the image displays properly.

3. Copy the url from the address bar that you want the image to link to. Highlight the code you put in for the image, including the image tags, and click url. In the first url tag, type an equal sign and then the full url you are linking to. Preview and test your link. The code should look something like this:

[url=http://www.cordair.com/shen/][img=http://www.cordair.com/shen/images/beyondmountains.jpg][/url]

Ciro, we haven't used the Yahoo account for a long time because it changes the file names of photos constantly so the images disappear. I have uploaded one of your pictures to our photobucket account. This is a special website for hosting photos and videos that generates code you can copy for displaying the image in a website using html or to display it on a forum using bbcode. For information on how to set up and use Photobucket, see their tutorials.

Using this code:

You will see this picture.

Ciro & Laura

You look like you had a great time at the wedding! Say hi to your daughter Laura for me. She is a beautiful girl.
