Nathaniel on Facebook

Recommended Posts

mmmm... interesting;and amusing,Michael.

May I take this chance to post an email request sent out by Dr.Branden to his client mailing-list? I haven't seen any mention of this anywhere, and I think it's a great example of the man's good-will.(It fascinates me how often,at the very extreme reaches of rational selfishness - or of 'conscious Selfhood',as I sometimes paraphrase it - a thinker, producer,or creator, can come full circle to 'Other-ism.')

"....but I [N.B.] want you to know that I read (and re-read!)every letter you sent me,and felt deeply moved by the passion and the depth.

Now I want to extend an invitation to you all.Give me your answer to this question: "What would you like most to have Nathaniel Branden discuss?"

There are no guarantees, but I will do my best."

Well, any requests? I have a few,but I'd like to hear from all of you!

I thought it was a very odd post. Is that really Nathaniel Branden or someone posing as him?

Actually, I'm one of his FB friends. I was surprised when I got the friend notification as I don't know Nathaniel at all. I have a doubt that this is the real NB.

I got the email message, too. That is simply normal email marketing.

It normally plays out as follows: Ask your list what they want discussed, then make a product about it and sell it to them. Maybe this is what Nathaniel will do, or maybe he will make something to give away. At any rate, this is a solid technique for interacting well with your email list.

I have made inquiries about the Facebook account.

Jordan,

Here is the link:

(I think you have to have a Facebook account and be logged in to see it.)

Lots of the right friends, but there is room for doubt...

Michael

There are two NB facebook accts. You linked the wrong one. I have a feeling the one you linked was a mistake and the second one right one.

Nathaniel just posted on his real Facebook account the following:

NB and his team would like to warn friends, family, fans and readers of bogus NB profiles....please be wary of fakes and frauds. If you are connected with any other "Nathaniel Branden" on facebook, please delete from your friend list asap. Best, NB and team.

Interesting... I checked the bogus account and, so far as I can determine, I'm not listed as a friend there any more.

Hate to ask it, but could there be any significance to Victor Pross being listed as a friend of the fake Nathaniel Branden?
