The 2016 Presidential Ticket Thread[it was tough not putting this into Humor]

Recommended Posts

The aim of this thread is to have fun and see who can come closest and earliest to the final ticket(s):

You can change the mix at any time, however the earliest accurate prediction will win.

Hillary "Evita" Clinton and Jim Webb as a default strong military background key electoral state

After Rubio, Cruz and Paul got on their knees and kissed the McConnel Ring on the Iran vote they drop out of consideration at this point in time.

I will go with a Walker Fiorina ticket, or, a Fiorina Walker ticket...

100% for Carly.

Then pick her as your early favorite and as a VP, or, P?

What is your early pick for the D's?

You can make as many changes between now and the actual convention decisions, this thread is open...

Sorry Adam, I overlooked you were starting a contest. I don't have the slightest idea and no guesses about who the primary winners might be.

Does this pussy shave his legs and chest?

Does Martin O'Malley shave his legs and chest? Is that the politically-potent question of the day? Does his polar-bear dip in 2012 say something voters should know?

Fun times.

My early bet for the Republican ticket is Bush/Walker, as I think the GOP will in the end discount those who play to the evangelical base.

My early bet for the Democrat ticket is Clinton/O'Malley.

My early bet for the Democrat ticket is Clinton/O'Malley.

Your Dem ticket is a good one in that:

1) it mixes the genitalia;

2) O'Malley was a governor; and

3) it mixes the generations.

The negatives are that:

1) it is too tilted to the Eastern establishments;

2) it does not even attempt to tack to the left of center, this is full radical progressivism; and

3) O'Malley doesn't bring a "State" with him, even though Maryland got caught short and elected a Republican, it is still a Democratic stronghold. Hell, Pelosi's father was the damn Mayor of Baltimore.

Good choice though.

As to the R's, Walker has an evangelical base. However, for that very reason, he is a good choice.

He, in theory, should be able to bring Wisconsin (10) ? electoral votes into the R column. Could make the difference if it is close.

This one has legs.

Nice interactive map..

Also shows the Northeast bleeding of electoral votes to Florida and Texas when you look at 2008 and 2012/2016.

I am developing a theory that this election would be the perfect time for a well funded third party with a charismatic speaking ability.

This even has a countdown -time clock on the right which shows 542 days and 13 hours until election day.

Here is how we started - what a great story America is...

If you take the map back to 1796 you can get a great perspective on this story.

As of this date:

Walker - Fiorina as VP is a winning ticket.

As to Evita - Webb as VP is less likely now.

Evita and one of the Castro twins from Texas works. One was three (3) term Mayor of San Antonio and is now HUD Secretary and the other is a Congressman.

There mom was an original organizer of La Raza.

Town Hall reported a story that said Marco Rubio has had four driving citations and his wife thirteen citations since 1997. And Marco had to go to remedial driving classes. So is this scofflaw Presidential material?

Town Hall's Guy Bensen wrote:

Lest incredulous readers doubt the true scope of Rubio's shame, the Times helpfully links to PDF images of the couple's traffic citations. Game, set, match. I mean, the presidential candidate has been ticketed four times since 1997, gang. And his license might have been suspended if he hadn't paid a $16 fine. Look, presidential candidates -- especially serious ones -- should be thoroughly vetted by the Fourth Estate. A recent examination of a potentially -embarrassing real estate deal involving Florida's junior Senator wasn't out of bounds, for instance, even if it highlighted some media double standards. But the traffic infraction story is silly season stuff. Nobody, and I mean nobody, cares. Adding a special layer of silliness to this "controversy" is the manner in which the Times appears to have come by its exclusive, ahem, reporting . . . .

I prefer Fiorina-Walker... but okay, good news.

This morning caught the thread on fb where Carly was out for a run in Iowa. Someone posted Hillary would have a heart attack if she tried that. I didn't want to say something nasty on fb, but my thought was I don't want anything to happen to Hillary, heart attack or otherwise, I want her to live to see the cell door slammed in her face in prison where she belongs.

Perry is too harsh looking, and the glasses are less than helpful, Fiorina hasn't enough oomph, Walker is a maybe but I heard he's handled the press less than optimally, and the beat goes on.

You think Clinton belongs in prison? How about Holder, the racist jerk? The goons from the IRS? They'd need to build another prison to put them all in.

Excellent idea... a real jobs program that has societal benefits.

And they can only be served Michelle "My Belle" O'bama's "official school" lunches, or, the field rations that our troops in the most isolated outposts have to eat.

Also, the Commissary would only carry marxist products:

1 type of toothpaste;

1 type of baloney;

1 type of white bread;

We can add to the list...

Gleaned from RealClear Politics:

The New York Quinnipiac poll has Rubio at 11, Pataki 11, Bush 10, Walker 7, Carson 6, Paul 6, Trump 6, Huckabee 5, Cruz 3, Fiorina 3, Santorum 2, Perry at 1. New Jerseys finest wasnt even mentioned.

I remember hearing from Krauthammer that the important number at this time in the primary process is what percent say they would NEVER VOTE for that clown? Trump led in that distinction. I would also put the religious conservatives in that class though Huckabee did win Iowa in 2008. Still the Huckster, Santorum, and Carson? Get outahere, youse clowns. Unfortunately, Walker has high negatives with teachers and other government employees. You are beamed outahere, Scotty. Whos the big Rhino? Youre both big Rhinos Christy, and Bush. I would never vote for those clowns so, Getoutahere.

Whos left? Rubio at 11, Pataki 11, Paul 6, Cruz 3, Fiorina 3, Perry at 1. Would Pataki be big in JUST a NY poll? Perhaps. The same for Perry at only 1 percent. Yahoo, Buckeroo. Do we want another Texan?

And now we are down to Rubio, Paul, Cruz, and Fiorina and they all look like Vice Presidential candidates to me. Were Dooomed!

Peter:

Your analysis is flawed.

Polls mean absolutely zero at this time.

There are some interesting trends though, and, sadly, Gallop is the "well known poll" to the "low information voter.

Evita's negatives against any of the "frontrunners" [deemed by the media as such] are all 47-53 in key categories.

Evita cannot escape her negatives.

Walker works well because he is a governor who has accomplished miracles in his state and precisely because he is hated by the power structures of the unions...

Guess what, that is not going to be even close to enough to elect Evita.

Flawed you say? Remember, we are talking about the primaries. The claim of "I would never vote for that guy," will be changed to "Hmmm. Old Hickory Clinton or Jeb in November, 2016?"

I like your name Evita but would it catch on? People will think of Madonna and she is popular. My comic name is closer sounding to OLD ONE STEP AHEAD OF THE LAW.

"Hmmm. Old Hickory Clinton or Jeb in November, 2016?"

If this nightmare does come true, I will have to resurrect my Nixon poster ...

only this time it would be ...

NO ONE CAN LICK OUR BUSH!!

Use your imagination on the Nixon poster...

Will Evita walk softly and carry a big stick? Hell, even Nader called Evita out on that one...

In an interview for MSNBC’s “The Daily Rundown” on Monday, Ralph Nader urged progressive Democrats to break ranks and challenge Hillary Clinton in the upcoming presidential race of 2016—lamenting that the former Secretary of State is once again emerging as the “inevitable” candidate because the left in the country has lost its “movement sensibilities.”

“Somebody must challenge from the left, because, I mean, Hillary Clinton, who started out as a progressive out of Yale Law School and Wellesley, she’s become almost the poster child for the military-industrial complex,” Nader stated.

Old Hickory's speech today promised everything progressive but contained few answers. What I saw was slick, well-done new speak. She will be a problem for any Republican candidate unless she burns out. Too many crony capitalist / fascists donators support her and too many women will support her because she is a woman.

Carley F. was on Fox the other day and my wife and one daughter watched her with me. She was impressive. she could hold her own in a debate, primary, and general election.

I wonder how Marco Rubio will do. I like him, Rand, Cruz and Walker as potential presidential material.
