This is an excellent website that I get 3- mails from several times a week.

It is great for Vets and non-Vets.

On the heels of scathing allegations against the Alaska Army National Guard, the Anchorage School District has indefinitely halted all military recruiting at its schools, according to Heidi Embley, district spokeswoman.

Ed Graff, district superintendent, alerted all branches of the military Monday that they could no longer recruit on school property until they met individually with Graff to "discuss student safety and other issues," Embley said.

Graff was in a board meeting Monday evening and could not be immediately reached for comment.

It is a clearing house to each of the services.

Lot's of discounts and programs.

Lol...I knew I was going to have to take that hit.

The Cowboys surprised me, and, obviously surprised Seattle's entire team.

As you know, Denver improved their week spots defensively.

Seattle seems to have some inside the locker room problems. We will see how unloading what ever his name is to the Jets helps Seattle.

The Jets, sad to say appear beyond hope.

My Giants are attempting to explain how your offensive line can possibly be so undisciplined that they commit penalties that kill drives..

That will not work with Giant fans.

I'll never get a flu shot. What a lot of garbage. Nor a pneumonia shot. Shingles? Dunno, but so far no.

Brant,

I've gone back & forth on the effectiveness of those shots. Would you explain why you oppose them?

The flu virus changes faster than the vaccine. No shot will prevent a mechanically induced pneumonia caused by bad swallowing. As for the rest, I'll just keep my immune system primed. They don't tell you about the mercury and aluminum adjuncts and if you ask they'll go tut-tut-tut.

From the Mayo Clinic re: flu shots

From Johns Hopkins re: pneumonia shots

I guess risk vs. reward(?) needs to be considered.

Deidre Imus Center and her Greening and Cleaning business has a solid approach on theses issues.

Thiomersal has also been "linked" to the increase in autism diagnosis.

That's 2 other sites worth a read. Thanks Adam for letting others draw from the well (reminds me of the Godfather scene where the mob bosses were telling Brando to share the politicians he had in his back pocket).

Isn't there a big announcement/press conference at the VA today announcing the removal of a "large number" of VA managers?

My question remains, as to, indictments.

A question that should be asked of the new nominee for Attorney General.
