Turmeric Powder and Curcumin

I keep well stocked on turmeric powder. I dump large quantities of it on my veggy mix that I make with my Omega 8003 grinder.

Turmeric? Great stuff. Went round to Diane's house last night because she's laid low

with a nasty cold and fixed up my chicken special. It's never the same twice, but

it involves large amounts (why a pinch, when a handful is better?) of garlic,

cayenne and turmeric, with olive oil. Aspirin, too, but not in the pot. She's up and

running, today.

I saw this report once on a study showing the remarkably low incidence of some

form of dementia (Parkinson's I think) in India, connected to high turmeric intake

[No, I'm fairly certain it was Alzheimer's. Parkinson's was indicated to be low

among smokers - could be they don't live long enough...]
