Backlighting
The left-wing recovery in action:"J.C. Penney plans to close approximately 40 stores in 2015, about 4 percent of the chain's total stores, the retailer told The Huffington Post Thursday. About 2,250 jobs will be lost, according to Joey Thomas, a spokesman for the company. Most stores will close around April 4, 2015, he said"http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/08/jc-penney-closing-stores-2015_n_6436518.html?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592

Brant Gaede
It's creative discussion in action. Nothing compared to Sears. Sears is being destroyed on all fronts including by its most senior management. In Sears case it may not be "creative."--Brant

Brant Gaede
No. MalWart will be around for a long time. A lot of stores are going down because of the Internet, however. Radio Shack will probably be completely gone this year. Might have some great going out of business sales. Get ready.--Brant
Backlighting
I have noticed the inventory at a Best Buy store here has been drastically cut over the last few years. It's a large store & I'm certain the overhead is staggering. They too might go or perhaps they will concentrate on on-line ordering, keeping the bulk of their inventory at various distribution centers while closing all or some of their retail outlets. Radio Shack may also resort to on-line marketing & fulfillment only. Time will tell.-J
