I wonder where the humor ends and the bitterness begins. It seems like the audience did, too.However, there is some mighty human nature truth in what Seinfeld said.What gives greater happiness, the product or the story about it? Call it a lie, advertising, manipulation, whatever, if you want, but the happiness comes mostly from the story and much less from the actual product.The video is only a little over four-and-a-half minutes. It's funny, it's snarky and offensive, but it's also worth thinking about.btw - If you are in marketing or do your own for your own product (which includes service), the only way for a competent person of integrity to roll is to have a kickass story and a kickass product. Besides, one doesn't thrive for long in the market without the other. Oh, shoddy products and lame-ass stories often work for the short haul, but they constantly need to be replaced. Brant Gaede Posted October 3, 2014 Share Posted October 3, 2014 You have to support Jerry here for it's not the criticism wrapped up in the humor but another way to better see the truth by providing another perspective even if his remarks taken literally are crap--if they are. It's seriousness delivered in the form and lubrication of humor.
