Is DHS Preparing for Civil Unrest with Massive Ammo Order?

I don't believe it. I don't care if it's true; I still don't believe it. I refuse to believe it even if it is true.

First they buy enough ammo for 4 bullets per person. Then banks all over the world are preparing to go bust but they are not telling lamestream news. They are preparing for violence. When people lose everything they lose it.

Nope, I don't believe it. That's pure bull. It ain't happening.

Jerry,

Your constant presumption about the idiocy and lack of character of OL readers is getting old.

Knock it off.

Michale

I apologize for not tracking closely all the squabbles. And I have also taken issue with some of jts's assertions. Nonetheless, I fail to understand the vehemence of the reaction here, once more. Jerry's claims are no wilder than the "Money Masters" video that MSK touted. Jerry is no more shrill than Gulch8 who knows only that sunshine today predicts Ron Paul's election, as does rain today. If he is out of the mainstream, where is Daunce Lyman, the confessed socialist who so nicely deflects our criticisms of socialism?

No matter who claims what, I would not reply that they insult our intelligence. I am not sure that that is even possible, considering what we do believe that is so clearly denied by most everyone else in the world. If anyone's mental acuity has been questioned it is the US Intelligence Community who let Barack Obama be nominated and elected without taking care of that embarrassing birth certificate. You would think that an intellectual like Saul Alinsky would have anticipated that... Ah, but we are so much smarter... and yet, we can be insulted by an unusual assertion...

Maybe the government does have a billion hollow-point bullets in preparation for violent protests. Maybe they should... In any case, it does not affect me. I do not intend to be out in the streets in a violent protest; and I do not own a gun.

But if JTS's posts seem relevant or not, that's one thing, I suppose. The responses are of deeper interest, perhaps.

Michaels both,

I don't thinki MSK's response to jts is just about the content, as the incredibly annoying way he presents his posts, always screeching that he knows we won't beliueve him and aw'shucksing that he knows we won't listen to his message,... it really is annoying, and he won't be reasoned or ridiculed out of it.

I do indeed say lots of stuff that nobody believes or agrees with, but I try to present it in a respectful or appropriate manner, and if I try to be funny at least sometimes I succeed.

Carol,

That's about right.

I actually like Alex Jones.

One of the reasons he is on the conspiracy theory side of issues and gets taken seriously enough to appear regularly in the mainstream and venues that shun conspiracy theorists is because he never does to his audience what Jerry constantly does here on OL.

On the contrary, Alex makes sure he is well sourced, fully understands what he is talking about and explains his ideas clearly. You can agree or disagree with him, but when you deal with him, you are going to run into facts--often facts that don't appear in the mainstream--and a thought-out position, unlike Jerry, where you mostly just get an obnoxious preemptive-like snarky attitude (something like let me ridicule myself before you jerks ridicule me), headlines and copy/paste.
