Michael Savage: "This may be the last election!"

Michael Savage has a rather profound concern:

<<<"Could 2012 be America's Last Presidential Election?

Michael Savage

I've asked this question to a number of people and most them respond as if I were crazy for asking. They tell me that this is America, land of the free and that there will always be elections. I tell them that we are no longer the land of the free and that if Obama gets re-elected in 2012, that this just may be America's last election.

In the past three years, the Obama administration has been very carefully crafting the nation for a political take over by his Marxist regime and this isn't just my opinion.

Popular radio talk show host Michael Savage is the son of Russian immigrants and is very familiar with Soviet and European history. Savage warned his listeners this week saying, "I have to tell you that if this man, God forbid, is the next president of the United States, we're going to be living in something along the lines of - people say Europe. I don't believe it's going to be like Europe - I think it will be closer to Chavez's South American dictatorship.

"This is the most corrupt, incompetent, dangerous tyrannical administration in American history. It's not politics as usual. It's not just Democrats versus Republicans. Obama has a long history of being at odds with American values and with America itself and the core principles of this country. They don't want government-sponsored opinions. They only want government-sponsored 'Pravda.' That's exactly what the government-media complex tells you on a daily basis - nothing but the government-media complex party line. Pay attention. Your freedom may be at stake."

[Obama] has gone out of his way to divide this country in a way I haven't seen since the Great Depression when Franklin Roosevelt went around to divide his country. That's his hero. What makes America great [in Obama's mind is that] the government takes money from somebody and gives it to somebody else. No, that's what makes America, France."

With his control over the Executive and Judicial branches of the government, the stage is set for a complete takeover of the government. Think about it.

Since taking office, instead of helping the economy, Obama has purposely escalated the economic crisis by plunging the country into unprecedented debt. He has a number of programs that are designed to go into effect in January 2013, just in time for his second term of office. The economic burden and increased taxes on everyone will be enough to cause the final economic collapse of the country. As soon as that happens, Obama declares Martial Law and assumes dictatorial control of the nation.">>>

How plausible is this? After all Adolf Hitler was elected! Conceivably Obama, if he is reelected, will consider that he has a mandate to lock up his political opponents, round up those who don't support him, use the crisis he has created to justify any actions he deems necessary to save the country. He certainly has shown no regard for the Constitutional limits on his powers.

We know he is using executive orders to bypass the Congress, e.g. enabling illegal immigrants to be granted benefits despite Congressional opposition at enormous cost to the taxpayers.

When Paul Revere comes riding through your town, it would be wise to take heed.

Dr. Savage is a very smart man. He grew up in my neighborhood on Utopia Pkwy. near St. John's University. Remarkable man.

We will always have elections. Whether the outcome is pre-determined is a different question, entirely. It is not impossible that like "the corrupt bargain of 1824" or the Tilden-Hayes results, the election of 2000 was fixed. Whether President Obama is ordained to serve again is an open question. But we will always go through the motions of an election...

I believe that at the local level, elections still matter.

In 1964, I was active in the Goldwater campaign. I remember handing out Goldwater leaflets in front of grocery stores and talking to shoppers as they left the stores. I often told them: "If Johnson is re-elected, we may not have any more elections!"

According to Mr. Savage you were way ahead of your time.

217 electoral votes are locked into Obama. 181 are locked into the Republicans. 140 delegates are toss ups. You need 270 to win. A Hugo Chavez regime in America is plausible. We will have “fixed” elections, thereafter, via Acorn type organizations, union thugs, and State government intervention in the toss up states.

I think Michael is right about the military remaining true to our Constitution. There could be a Civil War, executions, and then if we are lucky, we will get our republic back. Remember that video of Kaddafi being pulled out of a sewer pipe?

This can't be happening!

I feel for the young and innocent who depend on some of us to put things right to spare them the horrors which await all of us if things continue on this path toward economic collapse, bankruptcy, civil unrest, worsening unemployment, dare I say totalitarian state control. Zerohedge.com points out growing debt of 24 trillion and over 144 trillion in unfunded government liabilities.

http://www.zerohedge.com/article/245-trillion-us-national-debt-144-trillion-unfunded-liabilities-2015

Ever notice how calm the waters are as they approach a massive waterfall?

There is no happy ending to this story and it is going to happen suddenly someday soon regardless of the election.

There is probably a QE3 in the future, a deflation, a hyperinflation, a deepening recession followed by a depression, the currencies of Europe will collapse, price controls will lead to shortages and empty shelves in supermarkets.

Inconceivable that this will happen in slow motion.

Notice in the news that those who live in the suburbs outside the Greek cities are buying Kalashnikov AK 47 weapons to protect their property?

Be prepared!

Greek landowners mainly outside the jurisdictions of cities and their police forces are buying AK-47’s for protection, due to the increased numbers of burglaries and home invasions. The Russian rifle is simple to use and maintain, cheap, and the ammo is cheap. Is Obama deliberately aiming for an American situation of roaming gangs of brown-shirts doing his bidding?

Rush is really getting angry on air, and is sputtering-ly vitriolic. Even Objectivist spokesperson, Robert Trancinski said, “Goddammit!” yesterday in his column when discussing the coming collapse. There are several times that impeachment should have been threatened for the President for ruling by edict and without the consent of Congress. Where are the Republicans? In hiding?

“Now is the time that tries men’s souls.” Rush’s thesis is if we do nothing now out of political expediency and the upcoming elections, we will embolden Obama to more quickly enact decrees that will influence American voting records and left-wing radicalism for generations to come. We will see a brief, government inflated economy for the election and then the collapse will happen in 2013 or 2014, after Obama’s win. Obama has an overwhelming advantage in the locked in “electoral college” blue states. Very few swing states are needed to gain his coronation. Very little manipulation is needed to crookedly win those swing states.

“Media matters,” a supposed not – directly - political, leftwing, non-profit is going after Fox News and the people who work there. They got Pat Buchanan kicked off MSNBC yesterday. Their tactics are to stalk the news people to dig up personal dirt on them. And they report directly to the White House. One conduit for “Media Matters” is Valerie Jarret who is a senior advisor and assistant to the president for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs. If this flaunting of the law is ignored what else will be ignored? “The State Run Media” is now openly the state run media. Why should they hide if the opposition is cowed into submission? What do they have on Speaker John Boehner? In the meantime we are hopelessly obsessed with the republican primaries while, something is horribly wrong.

If the King of the Kraal Obama wins the next election, is it possible he will claim a Mandate and appoint himself President for Life by Executive Order?

At one time I would have dismissed the above speculation as a joke (in poor taste) but now I am not so sure.

Kraal rhymes with Ba’al. I saw your allusion to an enclosure for animals, or a village of southern Africa from the Afrikaans word, which was from the Portuguese curral which is a pen for cattle, and that was from the Vulgar Latin *currale* enclosure for vehicles. I first came across the word in the 1960’s from the novels of a white African adventure writer, who’s name escapes me, though I remember the name Richard Dawkins who was raised in Kenya, and J.R.R. Tolkien who was born in the Orange Free State, now called South Africa.

Robert Ruark! That was it, almost like Roark. He lets you know what it was like living in White Africa when the whites ruled. I remember him saying more great white hunters were killed by zebras than any other African creature because they were shot almost daily on safari, and then put out as bait so the rich aristocrats could bag a trophy lion. “Need More Gun!” might have been one of his titles 8 -) Really.

Though certainly glad to be home, returning, patriotic, jobless veterans will be on the side of Right, and ready to be on safari in America. The game? Community activist - thugs. Janet Napolitano noted that threat to Obama’s Brown Shirts last year. Are you angry yet? I am getting angry. Is it Iran War diversion time yet?

Just about. We should have our war with Iran this year. Lord Obama will declare an emergency and rule by decree for duration of emergency (forever).

Savage wins historic legal battle against radio syndicator

'Top names in business' already inquiring about taking his show

Published: 1 hour ago

Top-rated talk-radio host Michael Savage announced today he has won his legal battle to free himself from his syndicator, the Talk Radio Network, and can negotiate with a new network.

He said he “will not be heard on the radio for some time” but will continue to update his website and produce a free daily newsletter.

As WND reported, Savage sued TRN in December 2010 regarding his contract, alleging the network used “illegal and unenforceable contract provisions” and “other strong-armed tactics” to intimidate him and force him into accepting a “sub-standard agreement.”

The federal case was referred to arbitration.

Savage’s lawyer, Daniel Horowitz, told WND that Savage was awarded money damages and “complete freedom” from TRN. He declined to disclose the amount but said it was seven figures.

Savage has been given ownership of his show, according to Horowitz, which means he will be off the air until he signs a contract with a new syndicator.

“Within an hour of knowing he was free, we were already talking to top names in the business,” Horowitz said.

WND contacted TRN, but a staffer said no one in a position to comment was available.

Get Savage’s free weekly insider newsletter five days a week in your email inbox by going to the top of the home page on Savage’s website and clicking the green “SUBSCRIBE” box.

As WND reported, the new Talk Stream Live “Power 50,” which ranks the top talk-radio shows streaming on the Web, had Savage in the No. 2 spot.

Talk Stream Live says it sampled more than 1.2 million listeners during the first six months of the year to produce “The Power 50 Report” – the 50 most influential talk show hosts on the Internet and on mobile devices.

“We are proud to report that Rush Limbaugh is No. 1 and Michael Savage is No. 2,” said TSL. “These are the most listened to talk show hosts in the world.”

I feel sorry for Michael Savage. So much rage.

He certainly has plenty of that and he markets it well. Raging all the way to the back. Lol.

I think Savage's rage is justified, though it can be grating at times. He is truly downtrodden by what has happened to this country. He is an astute observer of events and WHY they happen.-very Objectivist in his approach to causes and effects. He does have a tendency to "burn bridges" of sorts with other popular radio talk show hosts, which is to his detriment. There is an old saying "You can catch more flies with honey than eith vinegar."

I'm sure Obama plans to do that. I know the UN plans to take over the world and enforce global socialism as is stated in Agenda 21. But it just won't work. Obama, no matter how ambitious and powerful he is, is not able to completely abolish elections and get away with it for the same reason the UN won't be able to abolish the second amendment and send armed forces to disarm every citizen with success. It is very true that people want to take over the world; their plans are as stupid as they are. Obama may try to pass legislation forbidding further elections and such legislation, though I doubt it, may pass. But would there not be chaotic riots once people realized that they are irrefutably living under a dictatorship? Of course there will be riots and of course there will be rebellion. The same goes for Agenda 21's plan to abolish the second amendment and force citizens to sell their property to the world government and from then on pay rent; once and if America falls into absolute dicatorship and irrefutable tyranny there WILL be riots and there will be chaos and rebellion. The despots know it which is why they draw out their plans, but no matter how long it takes to get to the point of obvious dictatorship, once and if it happens, there will be riots, chaos and rebellion. Ask anyone how they would react if Obama forbid further elections, how they would react if the UN ordered armed forces to go house to house and disarm every citizen and force them to sell their houses to the government and thereafter pay rent. Ask a police officer if he would, if ordered, go from house to house and disarm the innocent. As I said earlier, yes, there are powerful people who want to gain dictatorial power over their country (Obama) and the globe, but their plans are just too stupid to work. They will fall of their own evil and stupidity, I think. Think about it, if Obama had dictatorial power over the economy and could enforce anything he wanted how long would it take for our country to fall into the worst depression its ever seen and how long after that would there be rebellion and chaotic riots. There are many people like Alex Jones who are terrified of the UN and Obama because they're evil and want to take over the world. Yes Obama and the UN are powerful, but only as powerful as the support they get from their victims. What if the Germans told that maggot Hitler NO during elections? What if no one supported or worked for Stalin? "Stop supporting your destroyers" -AR.

Can I introduce you to paragraphing because I am not going to wade through this mass.

And, for your information, who do you think is going to have the balls, or, the ovaries to put their asses into the streets to oppose a "state of emergency"?

You are right about the stupid part, anyway, on the UN. That crew could not conspire their way out of a paper bag with both ends wide open. Most of them can barely hang on to their own parts of the world much less take over the rest of it.

Note to Adam - the reproductive organs out in the street is one of your less felicitous metaphors. Catches the attention though.

Really? It is intended to catch attention. Apparently, it is acceptable to use our testicles to express, positive, or, negative emotional actions in modern parlance.

I just thought it would be proper to return the favor.

So, my dear Canadian critic, why is it "...less felicitous...?"
