During the same period when I had my first philosophical essay published in The Individualist, Roy A. Childs, Jr. was in the process of publishing in that same magazine nine out of eleven installments of a lengthy essay, "Anarchism and Justice." (The whereabouts of the manuscripts for the remaining two installments are currently unknown.) Here is a link to guide you to the first three installments, which are all that have been posted on line to date.

Anarchism and Justice (1971-1972)

Childs' essay "The Epistemological Basis of Anarchism: an Open Letter to Objectivists and Libertarians" has been published online, with editorial notes and preface at these locations:

Editorial Notes by Nicholas Strakon (2003)

Preface: Roy Childs on Anarchism by Ronald N. Neff (2003)

The Episemological Basis of Anarchism: an Open Letter to Objectivists and Libertarians by Roy A. Childs, Jr. (1969)

Finally, here is a critique by Childs of Robert Nozick's "invisible hand" argument for the necessity of government. It appeared in 1977 in Journal of Libertarian Studies and is posted on the Mises Institute website as a pdf file at this location:

The Invisible Hand Strikes Back (1977)
