Try following the Seventh Day Adventist type diet which de-emphasizes meat and eschew coffee, tea, alcohol and tobacco like the Mormons do.

In college a Mormon told me, "We don't drink, we don't smoke and we don't chew--and that's all we don't do!"

I read a rumor that the leading cause of death among cardiologists is heart disease. I tried to track this down but no information. I posted the question on quora but no answer.

Dr. Joel Fuhrman tells a story of one of his patients who reversed heart disease nutritionally. He went back to his cardiologist and the cardiologist confirmed that the heart disease was reversed and said this is the first time he saw heart disease reversed nutritionally. He is a cardiologist and he sees heart patients all the time and he never before saw heart disease reversed nutritionally. WTF? Dr. Joel Fuhrman says he sees this as the normal thing.

I figure cardiologists should be in the business of putting themselves out of business, and if they are not then they have no business being in business. And I figure those cardiologists who are most effective in putting themselves out of business should logically get the most business. Where did I go wrong in my reasoning?

Coffee in non-excessive amounts actually enhances health.  Please see  https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/the-latest-scoop-on-the-health-benefits-of-coffee-2017092512429

It turns out that the health benefits of coffee do not depend on caffeine.  Decaf  and strong coffee apparently produce the same kind of benefits.

Most doctors are like automobile mechanics--it's about where the money comes from. But medicine is corrupted by socialism.

I'm glad I am not a hamster with congestive heart failure. Luckily I am human and with a big, healthy heart. That research does look promising, Jules.

John McCain's Mom is 106. She travels in a wheel chair but can stand up and "carefully" do things. I wonder how long John would have lived if he hadn't been exposed to so much sunlight for five years when he was a POW?
